With the launch of New Gen Access 125, Suzuki has started the calendar year 2025 with a bang. Not only were the launch of new Access 125 and the showcase of e-Access at Auto Expo 2025 notable, Suzuki Motorcycle India registered a double-digit growth in January 2025 with great sales performance in both domestic and exports.

One of India’s leading 2W manufacturers, Suzuki Motorcycle India, has started the calendar year 2025 on a positive note. The company registered a total sales of 1,08,921 units last month, resulting in a positive growth of 13.74% YoY and 12.52% MoM as opposed to 95,762 units sold in January 2024 and 78,834 units sold in December 2024.

Suzuki gained 13,159 units in volume YoY and 12,117 units MoM. Breaking down these numbers further, we can see that Suzuki Motorcycle India sold 87,834 units in the domestic market and 21,087 units globally in many markets. Domestic sales accounted for 80.64% and exports 19.36%.

In the domestic market, Suzuki managed to sell 87,834 units with a 9.10% YoY growth as opposed to 80,511 units from a year ago, gaining 7,323 units in volume. At the same time, there was an 11.42% MoM growth with 9,000 units gained in volume when compared to 78,834 units sold a month before.

The company’s exports witnessed a major bump too. Suzuki shipped 21,087 units last month, which resulted in 38.27% YoY and 17.35% MoM growth as opposed to 15,251 units and 17,970 units shipped a month before. Volume gained in shipments was 5,836 units YoY and 3,117 units MoM. Suzuki’s sales fell into the green across the sales chart, which is not the case with its immediate rivals.
