Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) saw the 200,000th Li L6 SUV (sport utility vehicle) roll off the assembly line, marking a milestone in the production of its lowest-priced model.

The 200,000th Li L6 rolled off the production line today at Li Auto’s plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, the company announced today on Weibo. It has another factory in Beijing, where it is headquartered.

Li Auto launched the Li L6 on April 18, 2024, and deliveries of the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) began on April 24.

The five-seat SUV is Li Auto’s least expensive model currently on sale and is available in Pro and Max trims with starting prices of RMB 249,800 ($34,070) and RMB 279,800, respectively.

Li Auto’s other models include the more expensive EREV SUVs — the Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9 — and the Li Mega all-electric MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).

Li Auto delivered a record 58,513 vehicles in December, up 16.21 percent year-on-year and up 20.05 percent from November, according to data released on January 1.

For the full year 2024, Li Auto delivered 500,508 vehicles, up 33.10 percent year-on-year.

Since deliveries began last April, the Li L6 delivered 164,488 vehicles through the end of November, contributing 37.21 percent of Li Auto deliveries in the first 11 months of last year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

A breakdown of deliveries for Li Auto’s different models in December is not yet available.

By the end of 2024, Li Auto’s cumulative deliveries since its inception totaled 1,133,872 units.
