Expanding its portfolio, electric mobility solutions provider, Ultraviolette, has just launched F77 Super Street. In concept, this is the opposite of the word Supersport, where Ultraviolette is making the F77 more ergonomically friendly for everyday rides. Launch price of F77 Super Street is the same as standard F77 Mach 2, starting from Rs 2.99 lakh (Ex-sh).
Ultraviolette F77 Super Street
Based on the standard F77 Mach 2, Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is positioned as a more ergonomic offering with a revised rider’s triangle. This should help buyers to make their everyday commutes more comfortable than what was offered with standard F77 Mach 2, which required a slightly committed position.
The company has achieved this by offering a new handlebar that is considerably taller than what is offered on the standard bike. Thus making a meaningful change to rider’s position, easing in comfort. This handlebar is also wider now, like a street bike, lending good leverage for riders to zip through traffic.
Ultraviolette has gone the extra mile and has tweaked the angle of F77 Super Street’s 5-inch TFT instrument cluster to fall in peripheral vision of rider’s new-found position. Apart from the changes in riding posture, there are a few changes in design as well. For starters, there is a new headlight cowl with F77 Super Street for a street bike look.
What is different?
This cowl has somehow contributed to better aerodynamics too. Ultraviolette quotes 15% improvement in aerodynamic performance. Weighing 207 kg, Super Street has gained roughly half a kilo, because of the new handlebar. Other than these design elements, Ultraviolette F77 Super Sport is almost identical to F77 Mach 2.
The top-spec Recon variant of F77 Super Sport comes equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack, powering a single electric motor, driving the rear wheel. This electric motor is rated at 40.2 bhp of peak power and 100 Nm of peak torque. Ultraviolette F77 Super Street’s range is identical to that of F77 Mach 2 of up to 323 km on a single charge.
Componentry is carried over from F77 Mach 2 as it gets USD telescopic front forks with fork covers, rear mono-shock, fancy swingarm, front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, 110-section front and 150-section rear tyres and more.
