Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) said today that cumulative deliveries of its new P7+ electric sedan surpassed 10,000 units, about four weeks after the model’s launch.

Production capacity for the P7+ was expanded three times to meet delivery demand, the company said.

He Xiaopeng, Xpeng’s chairman and CEO, delivered the 10,000th P7+ to its owner at a delivery center in Guangzhou, the city where the company is headquartered.

The electric vehicle (EV) maker launched the P7+ on November 7 at a starting price of RMB 186,800 ($25,770).

The mid-to-large-size electric sedan measures 5,056 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width and 1,512 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

The P7+ doesn’t come with any LiDAR, marking the first time Xpeng has ditched the part after using it for the past several years, shifting its ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) to a pure vision solution similar to that of Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA).

Xpeng calls the solution Eagle Eye Vision, powered by two Nvidia Orin X chips, and Xpeng’s XNGP (Xpeng navigation guided pilot) assisted driving feature were available when the vehicle began deliveries.

The company delivered 30,895 vehicles in November, the first time it has surpassed the 30,000 mark and the third consecutive month of record highs, according to figures it announced on December 1.

The P7+ accumulated over 7,000 deliveries 23 days after its launch, Xpeng said at the time.

Xpeng did not disclose the P7+’s deliveries in November, though according to local automotive media Yiche, the electric sedan delivered 6,950 units in November.

The P7+ is Xpeng’s latest blockbuster model after the Mona M03.

The Mona M03 was launched on August 27 and deliveries began on August 30, with a starting price of RMB 119,800, the least expensive of Xpeng’s models on sale.

The Mona M03 delivered 11,962 units in November, the third consecutive month with more than 10,000 units.
