Xpeng CEO wins Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award for automotive industry

Xpeng Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng is the only winner in the automotive industry in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award 2020 China, which was announced today.

The competition took nearly six months to complete and ten entrepreneurs were selected from a pool of candidates, according to Sina Finance.

The award recognizes outstanding business leaders who are enterprising, innovative, and practicing social responsibility in the midst of a challenging Covid-19 control situation, and gives the highest recognition to their achievements.

The technology industry had the largest number of winners, including Giantec Semiconduct Chairman Chen Zuotao, Horizon.Ai Founder and CEO Yu Kai, and Wanbang New Energy Chairman Shao Danwei.

The manufacturing industry winners were Feng Wang, Chairman and President of Linglong Tire, and Jun Liu, Chairman of Wuxi Rilian Technology.

Other winners included Hu Xiaojun, Chairman and Founder of China Express Airlines, who received the service industry award.
