Tesla opens 60 supercharging stations in China in November with a total of 517 superchargers

Tesla opened a total of 60 supercharging stations in 37 cities in China in November, with a total of 517 superchargers, the US electric car company said recently.

By the end of November, Tesla had completed more than 500 supercharging stations and 718 destination charging stations in China, covering more than 270 cities.

Tesla now has more than 20,000 superchargers worldwide.

Tesla has built over 150 experience stores and service centers in China, of which a total of three Tesla direct sheet metal spray centers are also currently open in Shanghai, Tianjin and Suzhou.

To boost EV sales in China, Tesla will build a new factory in Shanghai and will produce EV charging piles at its factory in 2021.

At present, Tesla has a large number of charging piles among new energy vehicle brands, and Grace Tao, Tesla’s global vice president, said at an event that she would not rule out the possibility of opening the charging piles to other brands of electric vehicles in the future.
