Nio today announced that the Nio EC6, an electric coupe SUV, will go on sale on July 24 at the 2020 Chengdu Auto Show, where prices will be announced and options will be open.
Last December, Nio Founder, Chairman and CEO Li Bin unveiled the EC6 at Nio Day, with deliveries to begin in September 2020.
The first pre-production model of the Nio EC6 rolled off the production line last month.
The EC6 is Nio‘s third model, following the ES8 and ES6 models.
It is powered by a 100 kWh battery pack and has a range of 615 km.
The EC6 has a slide-back design with a low drag coefficient of 0.27Cd, making it the lowest drag in the Nio SUV product family.
